Jammu & Srinagar, November 5, 2023 – The Government of Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently conducted the Written Examination for the post of Junior Environmental Engineer in the Forest, Ecology, and Environmental Department.
The examination took place on November 5, 2023, as per Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2021, under Item No. 557.
In an official announcement, JKSSB has provided the Provisional Answer Key for this examination. The answer key includes Series A, B, C, and D for the candidates’ reference.
Candidates who wish to raise objections or representations against any of the answers in the key may do so by following the prescribed format provided in Annexure “B.” They are required to submit their objections along with documentary proof or evidence that supports their claim in hard copy.
Additionally, a fee of Rs. 200 per question, in the form of a demand draft, should accompany each objection. This fee is refundable in case the representation is found to be genuine or correct.
It’s important to note that if an objection is found to be correct, the Answer Key will be revised for all candidates accordingly. However, the Board will not provide individual notifications about the acceptance or non-acceptance of objections.
Objections and representations must be submitted offline at the office of the J&K Services Selection Board, located at CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu, or J&K Services Selection Board, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar. The submission period begins on November 6, 2023, and extends for three working days during office hours.
The Board will not entertain any representations or objections after the specified deadline or through other modes.
This process aims to ensure fairness and transparency in the evaluation of the Junior Environmental Engineer examination. Candidates are encouraged to review the Provisional Answer Key and, if necessary, submit their objections within the stipulated time frame.
